Chef Works, of Poway, CA
Chef Works of Poway, CA has granted San Diego Foster Angels $10,000 to pilot a Chef Angels culinary program for foster and at-risk youth residing in therapeutic care facilities in San Diego County. San Diego area chefs from a wide variety of backgrounds will have their turn to teach the youth some skills, classes are held every other week. In addition, Chef Angels is trialing the program with bi-monthly classes for homeless youth of San Diego aged 12-24 years old, in collaboration with Youth Assistance Coalition of San Diego.
